A sequence of poems that write through each letter of the 1953 craft reference book A Metal Window Dictionary, rerouting the terminology of the trade into uncomfortable arrangements.
Sensitivity Note: This sequence is an experiment with language, hijacking the words and phrases of a craft into new and unexpected meanings. There are some arrangements that could be considered sexual or crass. This is not an intention of the sequence, more a consequence of an aged technical language taken out of context.
It may be best to skip poems B, F, G, K and O if you’re uncomfortable with this.
